Yesterday is for registration,yet some activities were arranged.more than 300 students from 13 countries participated in this years mersea int'l camp.
In the evening,300 student stood in line to enter the dining hall.just one minute before the chinese studends were able to enter,the organizer asked our students to do decorration with our logo in the ball room.our students went there without hesitation and before having dinner.zhou li,chen you and dai weining took the lead,with other college students standing behind then,giving good suggestions.i was deeply moved.
Today is the first formal day for the camp,the main theme of the day is team building.various interesting and chanllenging activities have been arranged by professional instructors and serious volunteers to make the students from all countries to know each other.in the following two day,an expedition and a visit to cambridge university will be arranged.
昨天是注册日，不过还是安排了一些活动。今年有来自13个国家超过300名学生参加摩西岛国际文化体验活动。晚上，300名学生排队进入餐厅。就在中国学生进入大厅的前一刻，活动主办方邀请我们的学生用我们的标识来装饰舞厅。我们的学生毫不迟疑地答应下来。在吃晚饭前，周莉、陈友和戴维宁带头和其他高校学生一起站在后面，同时给予好的建议和提供帮助。我被深深感动了。
今天是是夏令营正式的第一天，主题是团队建设。专业的指导老师们和志愿者们开展了许多有趣而富有挑战性的活动从而使得来自不同国家的学生彼此了解。在接下来的两天里，我们将会参观游览剑桥大学。
8月9日
Yesterday we visited Cambridge, we all had a good time. in the evening, a fairy tale party was organized. this morning there were sports games between villages. in the afternoon, in spite of a lot of rains, we had a meeting to discuss about the preparations for the national day tomorrow. we have decided to cook Yangzhou fried rice and sing the song Beijing welcomes you. here we have a lot about the successful opening of the Beijing Olympics, which made all of us very happy. on the next morning, we are to visit London, and more activities are expected after we get back to London next week. because our students are living in different villages sometimes with different activities, we are not meeting with each other all the time. I understand they are writing their own diaries and taking photos, and I hope they will exchange ideas and information on our way back home and after we get back. but we'll as always keep informed, for the parents want to know more from us, one of the students has already mentioned that to me. thanks a lot.

昨天我们参观了剑桥大学，过的非常愉快。晚上，营地组织了一场以童话为主题的晚会。今天早晨，各营地之间进行了体育活动。下午小雨，我们开会讨论了明天国籍日活动的准备工作。我们决定做一道扬州炒饭，唱一首《北京欢迎你》。因为北京奥运会开幕式盛大成功，我们在这里感到非常欢欣鼓舞。明早，我们将赴伦敦参观，下周从伦敦回来还有更多精彩的活动。因为我们的中国团员住在不同的村落，有时参加的活动各有不同，所以并不是随时都能见到。我知道他们都在各自写日记、拍照片。我希望他们在回国的路上能交流、分享心得和信息。保持联系，让家长们知道更多关于我们的信息。谢谢！

8月10日
Today is the nationality day. most of our students are active in preparation for our part of involvement. cheng you, zhou li, guo qing and niu aichen cooperated in cooking the Yangzhou fried ice for participants form the other 12 countires. zhou li sang a yueju opera song in the afternoon. niuaichen and zhou li is to perform short Chinese play in the evening, and cheng you is going to sing a song. dai weining is ready to write a Chinese calligraphy if time allows. most students have been cooperative and actively involvement in exchanges. yuan,yimin 今天是国籍日。所有团员都积极参与到活动中。陈悠、周理、郭青和牛霭琛合作上阵，为其他12个国家的学员制作扬州炒饭。下午周理献唱一曲越剧。牛霭琛和周理晚上将表演一出中文短剧，陈悠将为大家献上一首歌，如果时间允许，戴维宁将表演书法。所有的学生都积极交流，真诚合作。 袁益民
